Hateem is the name of a small wall, also known as Hijr Ismail, which is a part of the Kabah. It is a semi-circular wall made of white marble and is located in the North-West wall of the Kaaba. There was a stranded nearby, and so its wood was used. The woodworker named Baqoom made the dividers of the Kabah. Little dividers were collected indicating the first limits of the establishment laid down by the Prophet Ibrahim (A.S), which covered land over the northern side of Kabah.

It is narrated that it was Hateem where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) mounted in front of the people of Quraish when they did not trust his story of Night's heavenly Journey. Standing in front of all those people, he started to describe Jerusalem after Allah blessed him and presented the city in front of him.

Praying in the Hateem reward is the same as praying inside Kabah because it is said that Hateem is part of the Kabah.

Meezab-e-Rahmah is a way of water that starts from the roof of the Holy Kabah and ends at the Hateem. It is also famous as the water opening of mercy.
