When is the quieter time to go for Umrah?

Makkah and Medina are always full of people and never stop moving.

So it's always a good idea to look for quieter times, especially if you are travelling with older people or young children, or if you have the freedom to do so.

I'd rather go when it's not too busy, but it's getting harder to find that sweet spot.

Cheap umrah packages london will not be as busy at the beginning of the season. So, let's say from Muharram 1 to about the middle of December (of course depending on the year and how it moves).

Most people aren't there at this time, so flights and hotels are easier to find at lower prices (see below). Also, tawaf is much more fun when it isn't so crowded.

Umrah's "peak season" for people from the US and UK begins in December, during the holiday season. Most of the time, this is because they don't have to take as much time off.

This also means that hotels and flights from the United States, the United Kingdom, and continental Europe will sometimes cost a lot more.

Also, Easter break and school vacations will be busy times, especially for families travelling with kids in the West around February.

In general, I'd say to avoid big holidays when more people are likely to be travelling.

Ramadan, especially the last ten nights, is definitely "super-peak time." Most people want to go at this time, but they don't make their plans early enough.

It is the best time to go, but it is also the most expensive, especially if you leave late, and it is very busy. The closer you are to the Haram, the more expensive hotels and flights are.

I love to travel during Ramadan, but I've been in the same place for the last 10 nights, so I try to avoid it. This is especially true because hotels and stores are usually crowded.

Medinah is usually a little bit quieter during Ramadan, so if you really want to go there during Ramadan, you might want to spend the last 10 nights there during cheap umrah packages 2023.
